Here are some cards I have made using the X-cut (previous post) I got for my birthday.

My birthday was on Sunday and I got lots of goodies. Here is a X-cut machine I got which does die cuts and embosses. I am going to have so much fun with this.
Here is what I have with it and what it does.

Its small and quite clever. Looking forward to experiementing.

Above is the machine. The plates above are what compresses the paper and stencil and either cuts out or embosses.

Craft club- Chicken scratch( tenneriffe lace, snowflaking or Amish Embroidery)

I go to a fortnightly craft club and this week we learn't something called chicken scratch. It was simpler than I thought as stitching doesn't come naturally to me. Just wanted to show you what my first attempt looked like.

I enjoyed it so much I am going to do more.

I have made different occassion cards with the same design of flowers with various different backgrounds ribbons and card.

Picture Frames- paper craft Thursday

Its not really a paper craft but I did use paper.. Join paper craft thursdays .

I am doing some picture frames with the craft club I belong too in the next month or so and wanted to share with you some attempts.



I brought a cheap plain flat wooden frame and jazzed it up. You can personalize it to your own tastes. Bottom two are made from mini tiles with a grouting base, middle one is paper flowers layered, second one is an animal style frame and the top one was material flowers and butterflies , these three used PVA glue. It seals it and its transparent.
It makes a cheap frame look funky and stylish.
