Trinket boxes.

Had a go at making something a little different yesterday. They are little trinket boxes they are decorated inside and outside.

Below are the first two I did. I used decoupage paper to layer all over then put the picture on top and bottom of the box.

Pictures below show the lids and and base of box.

They are painted in gold enamel paint, then I decoupaged some beautiful ladies on them.

A few more cards completed. Took a while to get going today the sunshine was distracting me.

Fun with pro markers

I am an absolute novice at using pro markers, but had so much fun using them.

These images came from a lovely lady from here . She creates beautiful digi stamps you can use, pop over and have a peek.

Items I have made for my stall.

I have a table at a local community centre Saturday week and I have been busy making cards. I now have enough Art Deco themed cards, going to start on some male type cards next.

Its going to be a mixed table. I am also selling off some craft stock e.g stamps, mini embossers, fiska cutters etc and I am hoping people will bag themselves a bargain.

The craft club I go to have asked I bring any stock left on the Monday after so thats great!

I made these yesterday. I thought they would look great on a shelf or ontop of a bookcase.

I haven't painted in months and today I actually got my paints out and had a go.

It is acrylics on stretched canvas.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Card

I made this card yesterday. The backing paper is a pale yellow tie die effect, then I added a sparkly pale green and yellow floral print paper. Topped with decoupaged yellow flowers and some white silk flowers with beads. Edged with gold. I added a couple of wired leaves to break up the pale colours.

I tried to keep the colour scheme yellowish/gold for the theme Golden wedding Anniversary.

Not Art Deco for a change

Well I have actually made a couple of cards that are not art deco themed.

One is the 50's and the other 60's era.

Masquerade.

I would also like a few new idea's for paper crafts as I have a table at the end of March and would like different themes/gifts/cards to fill the table.. I tend to sell everything at cost as its just to replace what I have used. All idea's greatly welcomed.
