Same flowers as on wednesday paper craft post but used vellum instead of paper, they are firmer and easier to shape.

Paper Craft Wednesday

Paper Craft Wednesday is hosted by Kelli, pop over and see her lovely creations and there are many other people joining in.

I have to admit I am struggling recently to get crafty, my MS is really playing havoc with my body, but I pop over to my friends blogs and get some inspiration from them so thankyou bloggy friends.

I have had a go at making paper flowers, they are about the size of my palm. I used various papers and inked the edges and leaves to give a little extra dimension. I think more practice will help but here are my first attempts.

You have three different size squares, fold them into quarters and fold once more and cut out a petal shape. I Then unfolded them inked petals and joined them together with a brad. Largest at back then smaller ontop. I think they will look quite good on cards.

And yes more cards lol.

The pictures are not brilliant and they look shiny because they are in plastic envelopes for storage.

Here is my paper craft Thursday attempt. I have tried a new technique called twisted decoupage. I am not sure if you can see the layers clearly and its quite hard to align the picture, this is mt first attempt I am sure I will improve with practice.
